London – NB Flagship Store and Roof Hangs

NB_LDN_2

Just in case you missed it, New Balance opened a flagship store in London on Oxford Street, and they were set to celebrate in style on the evening of Thursday 27th October.

Myself and Rob headed down to represent NB Gallery and catch up with friends and to meet a load of new ones, as well as sample the load of prosecco that was on offer… or maybe I was the only one drinking the prosecco. Continue reading London – NB Flagship Store and Roof Hangs

Le Coq Sportif x LOOK Event – Paris

LCS_X_LOOK_8

I was lucky enough to get the opportunity to head to Paris for HANON and with Le Coq Sportif to attend the Le Coq Sportif x LOOK Cycle Event, which was held at the Vélodrome de Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines.

After some delays at Edinburgh airport, we were finally on our way to Paris and got in around mid-afternoon, before catching the train into central Paris and then heading to our hotel for the night.

That evening consisted of dinner and some drinks at a nearby restaurant with other Le Coq Sportif select accounts and Le Coq Sportif representatives, but I took it easy knowing that I was probably going to be cycling on a Velodrome the next day…

Sole Bloc

Last August, the people of Scotland descended on the SWG3 venue in the West End of Glasgow for Sole Bloc, Scotland’s first ever sneaker festival, and for Summer 2016, Sole Bloc was back for it’s second event, and it was sure to be even better than the last one.

Crepe City 15

A couple of weeks have passed since the fifteenth instalment of Crepe City, and as always the Crepe City team absolutely killed the event. This was my eighth Crepe City event and all eight have been located at the Truman Brewery which is just off Brick Lane in London’s Shoreditch.

Sneakerness Warsaw

Warsaw’s edition of Sneakerness was definitely the perfect event to pop my Sneakerness cherry, and a big shout out to all the great people who worked tirelessly to pull off the third Sneakerness in Warsaw.

Although the Warsaw edition isn’t the biggest out of all the Sneakerness events, it certainly had all bases covered, whether that was from shoes for sale such as recent releases, collaborations, vintage pairs, or the combination of good music, free entry, and even the cookies & cream ice cream which was on offer, all the necessary boxes were checked.

Sole Bloc – Scotland’s first sneaker festival.

It had been long overdue, but finally, on the 1st of August 2015, Scotland had it’s first ever sneaker festival – Solebloc, held in Glasgow, and it was an absolute banger. The event itself was held at the excellent SWG3, a warehouse in Glasgow’s West End, and was the best setting for the event.

Interview @ NB Real Ale Event

As part of the global launch for the New Balance Real Ale Pack, we had the opportunity to interview some of the New Balance Team, so of course, we were going to take them up on this. It’s not every day that you get the chance to do this, so it was a no brainer.

These guys have an absolute wealth of knowledge and are all but happy to share it with us, so this interview is quite long and in depth, but we thoroughly enjoyed being part of it, and all of the responses to the questions are particularly excellent.

I hope you enjoy reading the interview as much as we did giving it.
