You will know Hikmet Sugoer as the founder of legendary sneaker store Solebox, but since leaving Solebox, he has taken on a new project – SONRA.
In Turkish, Sonra means next, and so far we have seen 4 different colourways of the Sonra Proto, and his 5th colourway will launch exclusively on the SONRA site this evening (May 7th 2017).
The new Sonra Proto “Pembe” which means pink in Turkish, will launch online at 18:00 German time, limited to only 100 pairs, so you better be quick as every release so far has sold out in a matter of minutes.
This particular pair is handmade in Germany like the others, but for this colourway, it’s decked out in a sleek black upper, with perf detailing on the toebox, as well as a grey tongue, and popping pink for some added contrast. The pink can be found in leather around the collar, tongue backer, and insoles, as very as a super hairy suede lining on the heel, so you better wear some dark coloured socks!
